This project aims to document the jurisdictional/institutional mandates and accountability structures for programs and services in a First Nation community, identify duplication and gaps in programs and services, develop an asset map of existing programs and services available to people living with substance use issues within the community, and create materials that ensure service providers and community members know what is offered at each program and service. To meet these objectives, two separate focus groups will be conducted, one with program managers and another one with frontline workers and service providers, to learn about programs and services in the community. Findings from the study will be used to inform knowledge translation materials, which may include a user-friendly and image-rich poster, as well as a webpage displayed on an existing community website.
