Andrew Shaw is a Research Coordinator for the Ontario Node of the Canadian Research Initiative in Substance Matters (OCRINT) within the Institute for Mental Health Policy Research at the CAMH. He has a Master of Science in Community Health, specializing in Addiction and Mental Health from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. His research interests focus on the impact of the drug toxicity crisis on people who use drugs (PWUD) and explore clinical and policy interventions that affect this population.
